About Me
This Isn’t Just What I Do - It’s Who I Am
I’m Karen Millwood Voche. Life Coach. Counselor. Former attorney. And a sister on this journey.
If you’ve ever thought, “I should have it all together by now,” I’ve been there.
I know what it’s like to build a successful life on paper, career, family, community, yet still feel lost when the relationships fall apart. I know the silent ache of starting over. Of sitting in the question: “How did I get here again?”
The truth is, being smart and strong doesn’t mean you’re not hurting. And healing doesn’t mean doing it alone.

From Survival to Peace
I was married for 20 years. Then divorced for 20 more.
I’ve had moments where I held it all together, and moments where I unraveled in private.
After one particularly painful breakup, I pressed pause. I stopped dating. I turned inward. And I stayed there, for three years.
During that time, I asked hard questions. I owned old patterns. I healed quietly and deeply.
And when I emerged, I realized I wasn’t alone.
So many smart, successful women, just like me, were silently carrying grief, shame, confusion, and exhaustion around love and self-worth.
That’s why I created The Single Sisterhood, a place where women could heal out loud, together.
Professional Expertise, Personal Truth
I’m a Certified Life Coach. I also hold a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling, and I practiced law for many years.
Each of those identities helped shape how I hold space, firm when needed, soft when called for.
But more than any degree or title, I’ve lived this. I don’t coach from a mountaintop. I coach from the trenches, with wisdom, grace, and no illusions. I bring my whole self to this work, professional training and personal journey alike.
“This work is rooted in everything I’ve learned, through heartbreak, healing, and the courage to come home to myself.”
The Millwood Method™ is my signature framework, a four-part path that guides women back to their wholeness:
Explore
We look inward with honesty and self-compassion
Expect
We rediscover your worth and envision something new
Execute
You begin choosing peace, agency, and joy, on your own terms
Exhale
You reward yourself with relaxation and rejuvenation
It’s not a formula. It’s a living process, grounded in truth and supported by sisterhood.
This is What I Know to Be True:
- You’re not too late
- You’re not too much
- You’re not broken
- You don’t need to settle
- You deserve to feel at peace in your own life
And that’s exactly what this space is for. To help you come home to yourself, clear, grounded, and free.
If You’re Ready to Feel Like Yourself Again, I’m Here.
Let’s walk this road together, in honesty, grace, and sisterhood.
